Dressing modestly doesn’t mean that the clothing has to be unappealing or outdated, there are several fashion designers out that that fill the modern fashion gap, that is modesty. They help women adhere to their religious, cultural or moral guidelines by providing beautiful clothing that allow women of every shape, size and colour to dress with flare.
1. Hana Tajima- a British-Japanese designer who tends to have a minimal yet contemporary style with natural fibres and warm colours.
2. Dian Pelangi- an Indonesian husband/wife team that use bold colours and prints in a mix of modern and traditional styles.
3. Nurita Harith- a designer of Malaysian heritage and raised in the UK, uses muted yet elegant tones in a soft, feminine draping style.
4. Lulu Alhadad- a Singaporean designer who utilises bright, glamourous styles for a wide age range.
5. Rico Rinaldi- the Malaysian designer who uses impressive couture designs for every occasion.
